I have recently joined this list and have read all of the archived
messages. I don't believe there are any messages regarding Reuben WOOD
and Jane CURREY which are two of seven of my ancestors buried in the
Sugg's Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Is there anyone
else on this list that descends from Reuben WOOD?

Reuben WOOD (1787-1835) was s/o David WOOD & Jane ____. Reuben came from
Randolph Co NC to Williamson Co TN where he m Jane CURREY 13 Nov 1810.
She was d/o John CURREY Jr. & Sarah CURREY (first cousins) who are also
buried in Sugg's Creek. Shortly after their marriage, Reuben & Jane moved
to Wilson Co TN where they lived for the remainder of their lives. Issue
of Reuben & Jane:

1. John C. WOOD (1812-1860) m 21 Sep 1831 Wilson Co to Sarah W.
DRENNAN. They moved to Texas Co MO.
2. Susannah Matthew WOOD (1813-1867) m 3 Mar 1836 Wilson Co to William
Calvin ROBBINS. She is bur Sugg's Creek.
3. David F. WOOD (1816-1845) m 7 May 1835 Wilson Co to Ann B. BROWN.
He is bur Sugg's Creek.
4. Reuben McLinn WOOD (1817-?) m 29 Jul 1839 Wilson Co to Hester Ann
OSBORN. No further info.
5. Jane Harriet WOOD (1820-?) m 30 Jul 1839 Wilson Co to Samuel D.
YANDELL. They moved to Gibson Co TN.
6. Isaiah Brownlee WOOD (1824-1840) not married. Bur Sugg's Creek.

I hope to hear from a WOOD cousin.
