Albuquerque Journal - February 16, 2003

Beatrice G. Torres, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 15, 2003, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, John W. Sheffield; sons, Margo"Mark" Torres and wife, Marcella, and Gary Torres; grandchildren, Randy Torres and wife, Kim, Leeann Torres, and Kimberly Torres; great-grandchildren, Dominique, Briana, Joseph and Andrea; and sister, Rose Padilla and husband, Lee. Beatrice was a member of the St. Charles Parish. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 20, 2003, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, from 6:00 p.m. to time of rosary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ameri!
