I apologize, for some of this is a repeat, but wanted to add the questions
below regarding the Green County, NY census:

Morehouse TOWNSEND b.1803 in ?Fairfield Co.,CT, married bef. 1829 in
?Delaware Co.,NY, to Annie M. JOHNSON b.22 Mar 1804 NY. Nickname was
"Mott".

They had 4 children that I know of:
William b.1829 NY m.1851 to Marian DENTON.
Eunice b.ca.1830-31 NY m.ca.1853 to Daniel B. GRIFFIN.
Caroline E. b.1833 NY m.1854 to William BARRETT.
Wallace J. b.1844 NY m. Hannah A. (?unknown).

The familiy lived in Delaware Co., and Green Co., NY untill about 1864 when
they moved to LaSalle and Ogle Co, Illinois, then in 1870 to Gage Co.,
Nebraska. Caroline E. TOWNSEND and William BARRETT's children were born in
Catskill, Green Co., NY.

I am preparing to order census films this next week.
Does anyone have any further information on any of the following Townsend's
in Green County, New York census index??:

The 1840 index lists a "Solohouse* TOWNSEND" (I hope this is
my Morehouse (just misspelled)), listed in Lexington Twp, page 210. There
is also an Alfred on pg. 210, and a John on pg 184, all in Lexington Twp.

In the index for 1850, Green County:
Jane Townsend, Catskill Twp, pg 371.
Alfred Townsend, Lexington Twp, pg 296.
Moses Townsend, Lexington Twp, pg 296.
Robert Townsend, Lexington Twp, pg 296.
