Debbie, we have never gotten past Sarah, b. Sep 10, 1763. She is the
only Townsend we have and have never found who she belonged to. We
know what happened after she got married to Godfrey Augustus Speck in
Baltimore, but have no previous family for her. I keep watching your
posts, because of that group of Townsends found around western PA and
on into Ohio. But we need to go 'way back. Thanks, much, for your
response. Darlene

Hello,
I am also looking in these areas.
JOHN TOWNSEND born 1871 married Mary "Lizzie"
Freshcorn in Beaver County Pennsylvania on May 25,1892

On the marriage license in has WILLIAM TOWNSEND as
John's father.
I am really stuck at this point.
I do know Mary"Lizzie"Freshcorn-Townsend died
Feb4,1963 and Her death certificate was filled out by
Mrs.Murray from Baltimore. Also it has her being
divorced at the time of death.
Mary"Lizzie"Freshcorn Townsend lived in Midway
(Washington County) Pennsylvania in a very large home.
The home is still there . Now it's five apartments.
The man who owns it is very hard to contact. We keep
missing each others calls.
Please let me know if you have JOHN or WILLIAM
TOWNSEND in your line.
Thanks for your time,
Debbie Pike
