Yeah, I did that too and my laptop is still XP. But eventually it will
become impossible to avoid Vista and stay with Windows, so my new desktop
came with Vista. Once I got past the annoying over-protection, I kind of
like it. And I have only encountered one unimportant app that hiccupped when
I tried to use it with Vista - so far so good. But I noticed that Ads for
the version of Quick Books that you recommended lists a couple of platforms
in its ad - suggesting that it might not work with Vista. I guess that I
could run it on my lap top.
