You can read the archives at http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/t/transitional-genealogists-foru.html#TRANSITIONAL-GENEALOGISTS-FORUM which I highly recommend to anyone who is joining the list. There aren't that many posts since it is a fairly new list and each one is interesting. It also gives the cultural "flavor" of the list since every email list has its own culture and attitudes based on the mix of subscribers.

As mentioned, the APG-L has its own culture and flavor which is different than this one, although many people are cross-subscribers.
