Amy, I have been almost totally incommunicado for a week. Wading through these email, I do not see reference to something that might be helpful to you.

Several years ago there was a big discussion on the APG-L about reports and their attachments. I adopted many of the suggestions and these have served well.

All documents are reduced so that they fit on letter size paper with room to place a 1x4(Avery size 5161) or 1 x 2 5/8 (Avery 5160) label in the bottom right hand corner. The label has the source citation and the report information -
Attachment A - source citation, ("Report Name", date, for CLIENT INFO, by MY INFO.)

Every page, front and back has its own label. I keep the copy with the label affixed and send the client photocopies. Each page of my report also has a footnote with - "Report Name", date, for CLIENT INFO, by MY INFO, and page number and copyright notice. That way, no matter how many copies the client makes, each page of the report and each attachment are identified, the source is cited and my report info is included.

Most legal and 11x17 will reduce to letter size without a problem. For those that make the writing rather small, I include a blow-up size of the portion the client needs. That is also labeled, usually something like A-2, a reference to the main source.

Best regards,
Dee
