Hi Melissa
I guess I am in the minority here but...when you call a business what do you
hear? Usually it is a person's name and the name of the business. Order is
probably immaterial.
Therefore IF THIS IS A BUSINESS PHONE then I think you need your name and
your business stated. You stated the number is on your BUSINESS card and you are
putting it out for BUSINESS.
Now the item that was brought up about how the phone company may look at this
is worth thinking about and maybe you should call and ask the phone company
the cost of a business line. Then you have the decision to make.
When I had my photography business I just used my house number and answered
as usual. Granted I was doing it as a business but not trying to expand to full
time. I had the business license from our city which authorized me to work
out of my home for this. By the way--you didn't say whether you had acquired a
business license or not.

More food for thought
