shame on me, but you're right. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2007,
after it languished since the 70s where I had stopped 3 courses short. I
found that going into exams it was interesting to see how younger students
were under such heavy stress, which wasn't the case for me.

I surprised myself. Had withdrawn from advanced stats way back when, which
had forced me into another year that time and finances back then didn't
allow. This time around I found that I loved the stats course, made all the
difference. Helped to have an instructor with a whacky sense of humour who
was also an excellent communicator, keeping things lively while conveying
knowledge.

It's partially the expense, and trying to justify that too. Younger you
could point to it being a career move, but...
