Are personally-developed locality guides and repository guides a thing of
the past now, with the availability of the Internet? I still enter major
record loss dates in my database and on my timelines (courthouse fires,
etc), but I don?t really do guides.

Don't know about all the others but as part of PROGEN 1 Group we did locality guides for our particular areas. I found it extremely helpful and have maintained it since then.
