I agree with Michael and Harold.
The BCG certification is inclusive not exclusive.
All may apply.
Only those who have:
1. taught themselves genealogical research,
or
2. received training in genealogical research through an institute or
a degree program,
and
3. can show their abilities in writing
will become certified.
