September,
Ancestry correctly states in their Source Information description that the Iowa nonpopulation Schedules are in T1156, rolls 54-62; however, in the index itself (at least for my ancestor), it states "Roll A1156-57." See, for example:
http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?ti=0&indiv=try&db=usmortality&h=2226004
A list of NARA microfilm of the nonpopulation schedules, by state, can be found at the bottom of this National Archives page:
http://www.archives.gov/genealogy/census/nonpopulation/#where
I think this is a typical Ancestry indexing error, so I have chosen to cite the image as "from National Archives and Records Administration microfilm T1156, roll 57; this record is incorrectly indexed by Ancestry as deriving from NARA microfilm series A1156."
Other interpretations (or thoughts on citation) are most welcome!
Connie
