Barbara,
My problem is that one or more of the courthouses will not allow any device
that
can be used to copy records since the county clerk office plans to
eventually to
make electronic records of them. I would really like to take a computer
there,
instead of having to handwrite from the big book.
I guess they are afraid I might copy information from records onto a
computer.
I would have a hard time doing it in the closest courthouse anyway. If I
did have
a computer the keyboard would be almost shoulder height while looking at a
book that is at the same eye veiw. I do what I must to get the information
down.
