I cite my personal transcription. I *might* check against what the
Ancestry transcription shows if I have some question of how I'm reading
the record, however, given my low level of confidence in Ancestry
transcriptions, I wouldn't say I find them persuasive. Also, the full
record is not transcribed on Ancestry and I'm interested in all the data
recorded. Why would I use a transcription when an image of something
closer to the original is right there?
