Frankly, I hate to see this discussion go on. What is it accomplishing and
what if the person who made
the spelling errors is on this list they have caught on by now that it is
their website.
There are reasons it may have happened. As mentioned, the old spell
checker that does not recognize
the usage of a word. And believe me, when you've thought it, researched it,
worked it, typed it, etc. for days and weeks on end, the largest mistake
will get by you. It is not that you don't know the correct spelling or usage
but your mind often races ahead.
Genealogist to genealogist, I'd let the person know. Gosh, if your slip
was showing, would you want me to tell you? (well, if you wear one of
course)
