Subject: [TGF] Anyone in San Francisco?
Hi all,
I'm having a bit of an issue finding some information and think it might be easier to have someone from San Francisco help out. I found a reference to a diary that was published in the San Francisco journal, The Argonaut, but no source information to locate the diary was included to help me find it. The subject died in August of 1883 and I'm thinking it's possible that it would have been published after his death, possibly as a memorial, since his time in San Francisco was prior to the formation of the journal itself. I've checked Worldcat and none of the libraries that I can get to have these earlier editions of The Argonaut, however, there are several libraries in the San Francisco area that appear to have full runs of it so if someone might be willing to help track this article/s down, I'd really appreciate it. Just let me know off-list.
Thanks!
Nikki LaRue
