I attend conferences for the breadth of instruction - typically an hour's instruction on each of a wide range of topics with some of the best instructors in our field. I attend institutes for the depth of instruction - typically 20 hours of instruction focused on a topic with a few of the best instructors in our field.

This would include all institutes—IGHR, SLIG, GRIPP, and NIGR. Please feel free to respond on list or off.
