Another method is to convert the image into a jpg and drop it onto a word processing doc set to the size page you need. Set the footer size on the bottom of the page so that you can enter the entire footnote across the bottom. You can save that new doc as a word processing doc, print the page from a printer, print to a pdf, etc. I usually print the new doc to pdf to save it.

This works on all my cases and documents, no matter the size of the doc or the paper it will be printed on.
