I am a descendant of Nicholas Stallworth Travis. I have alittle info on this
line, but not quite sure if I have all correct information. I would be happy
to share what I do have.

(from Rootsweb) I could find on-line about his Travis ancestors.

Grandfather, Nicholas Stallworth Travis, born in South Carolina in 1810 and
died (was assassinated?) in Escambia County, Alabama in 1862. There seems
to be a great deal of information about the Travis/Travers line going back
from Nicholas. (There have apparently been several avid genealogists who
have traced this line over the years. Wish someone had done that for my
family.)

anyone has this data in gedcom format and would be willing to share it, I'd
be most appreciative.
