Today in Frogner Park in Oslo, the Norwegians and Americans have gathered
together to sample the blending of the two cultures. They expect 10,000
persons to come!

July 8--Minneapolis: Norway Day to celebrate the culture and heritage at
Minnehaha Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a service at the
Norwegian Lutheran Nes Sanglag Choir, traditional folk music, arts and
crafts. Lots of food to be served, both American and Norwegian, and a
children's parade. What fun!

Here is a bit of news; Of the thirty-three European nations, Norway ranks
third behind Luxembourg and Ireland, for the highest net immigration from
1995-1999.
