I also tried looking for her in the 1900 census and couldn't find any
Juliana
that could have been her. Of course that doesn't mean she couldn't
have married
before her family went to the USA. Unfortuneately the Namdalseid
bygdebook
isn't good at mentioning people who moved away, but it mostly tells
who they marries,
she wasn't mentioned at all.

I do have a Hans Martin Jrgensen Holtan b 1862 in my file who was
born in Sparbu,
but I have no idea who he married.(His father was married twice and
secondly with one of
my relatives). May be someone with Sparbu connections might check
on him. Where was this Anna Eid from?

His parents were Jrgen Toresen Holtan and the mother Sigrid Vrdal,
both from Sparbu.
This Hans Martin worked in Steinkjer.

I checked the census and unless he married twice this is not him,
since in the 1900 census
he is married to a Gustava.
