... May mean they emigrated earlier so their residence is now America.
Under remarks it may mean they were born in America. I found this with
several who were on the emigration list in 1890s and early 1900s. (I found
one family who made 3 visits to Norway from 1900 to 1925! Father born
Norway, children born in America)
