If someone on the list can conveniently access Hennepin County Courthouse records, I would really appreciate a lookup. I am doing research for a party in Norway and wish to confirm that Orie Herman Tilseth is (or is not) the son of Henry & Anna Tilseth.
Henry Tilseth was born in Støren abt.1887-88 and is listed in the Støren Bygdefolk og Bygdeliv under Nordgarden Røttum as Henrik Olsen Kvernemo. According to Norwegian emigration records, he applied for passage to Menomonie, WI in 1904 using the name Henry Ols. Tilseth (his mother was Gollaug Tilset). Henry died in Hennepin Co., MN on 13 Nov. 1947. He is listed in the 1920 US Census, Hennepin Co., MN as Henry Tilsith, age 32, living with his wife Anna (born in WI) and sons Clifford and "Erie." The name of the son listed as "Erie" is very difficult to read on the Census record, and am wondering if it possibly could be "Orie" born 2 Nov. 1917 & died 8 Nov. 1993. Both the DOB & DOD are Hennepin Co.

I can't seem to come up with any more info. searching Ancestry.com and it appears that MN vital records are difficult to obtain if one is not related. Any help appreciated. Thank you so much.
