Our testing company (which unfortunately I can't name on the List) has
introduced a new yDNA 59 marker test. They are dropping the yDNA25
marker test although those already tested at that level will
automatically be compared to anyone doing the yDNA59 marker test.

This change in their tests also has affected the upgrade tests
available. New upgrade tests for people with existing tests will be:

Y-Refine 12-37
Y-Refine 12-59

Prices have also been changed and the upgrade Y-Refine 12-37 has been
reduced significantly. If you have tested only at the 12 marker level,
I would encourage you to upgrade to the 37 marker level by ordering the
Y-Refine 12-37 marker test.

I will need to be making some major changes on the Turner DNA Project's
website but until then, if anyone has any questions, please contact me
directly.

There should be some new results posted to the project soon. I have
sent the latest results to my webmaster. Latest results were posted on
3-3-06.

Remember that the Turner DNA Project's website is at:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~turnerdna/

To access the results chart, click on the word "Results" on the left of
the home page screen. It is large so may take a while to load.

Clicking on any kit number will take you to a page that shows the direct
male lineage of the line tested plus information to help you see
locations. If the kit is within a colored group (meaning we appear to
have lines with a common ancestor at some point in the past) it will
take you to a page where those who are "genetic cousins" of some degree
have their lineage outlines.

I continue to be excited about what we are learning. I encourage anyone
seriously researching their Turner line to find a male Turner who will
join the project and be tested to document your line.
