I have started a discussion group to try to group together the Turner families whose ancestors originate in Scotland, and who want to use DNA testing to sort out the various families involved. There are SO many Williams and James, and Georges, and no clue to the family links!

Ther can't be too many Scotts Turner families in the 1600-1700s in Scotland. I do think we can identify some of them by DNA testing and allow us to eliminate some marriages or births from our genealogy searches.

So please- if you have DNA information on your family and you originate in Scotland- lets give it a go.
