Subject: Thomas Turner and Lazarus Turner

I am researching the Steagall and Bobbitt families of Franklin Co. NC
area c.1800 and am working through their ties with the Turner.
Specifically, Edward and Martha Steagall named a son Thomas Turner
Steagall. Martha Steagall's father was Turner Bobbitt. Were these
two individuals named for the Thomas Turner born early 1700s who
received Granville Land Patents?

I am also interested in Lazarus Turner, born c.1690-1700, Turner who
received a Johnston Co. NC land patent. Can he be tied to the
lineage of Lazarus Crawford b.c. 1740 of Johnston Co. NC. Does
anyone have information on Lazarus Turner. In my research of
Wayne/Johnston Co. I have not found him mentioned.

My instructions for using the Turner Research Group were deleted
through a glich in my mail. How can I contact the Group server for
another copy of instructions?
