I looked again and I think I have your ancestor you are searching for.

The Scitutate vital records list Japhet Turner as being baptised Sept 17,
1704, the son of Japhet Turner,
no mother given. The vital records do not have any mention of Japhet
being married in Scituate or
dying there. Nor do I see any children being born to that Japhet.
Therefore, I would say there is a very
high likelihood this is your ancestor.

If you find out any more info on this line please let me know. I am
descended from Japhet Sr.
