William TURNER, b. ca 1760; m. 14 Aug 1781 Orange Co., NC to Ruth
STANDIFORD, daughter of Isreal STANDIFORD and Cassandra ANDERSON who
migrated from Baltimore Co., MD to NC.

Only proven children of William and Ruth are Andrew TURNER, b. ca 1783, and
Isreal TURNER, b. ca 1784, though it appears they had other children
including Ruth TURNER who m. 28 Dec 1812 Orange Co. to Jesse VICKERS.

Andrew TURNER moved to Ashe Co., NC by 1808 and d. 1863 Ashe Co. He appears
to have been married twice. His second wife was Sarah mnu. Andrew's
children were Standiford, William, Ruth, John, Andrew C., Isreal, Susannah,
James H., Hugh C., Jane, Martha, Rebecca, Marion, and Mary Carolina.

I have only a little Orange Co., information but a great deal of Ashe Co.
information.
