In response to the listowner request for Turner information, I have three
Turner sisters (Mary Parker, Elizabeth and Jane) who married Taylor brothers
(Jonathan, James and William Washington). Jonathan and Mary Parker Turner
Taylor were my GG Grandfather & GG Grandmother. Jonathan Taylor was born in
1801 in Raleigh NC and Mary Parker Turner Taylor was born in 1808 in Hancock
County, GA.

I think the Turner sisters' father was named Samuel, but have not documented
this.

All three Turner/Taylor families came to Louisiana in the early 1850s where
they settled in Claiborne Parish. Courthouse records document their purchase
of property at that time.

If this ties in to what anyone on the list might have I would appreciate
hearing from them. I can provide descendent information on the Jonathan/Mary
Parker Turner Taylor line down to date.
