Hello. My earliest ancestor I have located is Lewis TURNER, b. abt 1785
in SC. The line looks like this. (I have limited info, and am looking
to fill any blanks.)

I Lewis TURNER b. 1785 SC. M. Ajusta KENNEDY (poss in Simpson Co. MS)
d. unknown, poss either Simpson Co. MS or Polk Co. TX

II John TURNER b. 1822, Simpson Co. MS. d. aft 1863, (family was
living in Polk Co. TX at the time. Not discounting the possibility he
was killed in the War.) m. Matilda, surname unk., abt 1850-52. poss in
Simpson Co. MS.

III James TURNER b. 12 March 1863 near Corrigan, Polk Co, TX. d. 4 Jan
1940 in Overton, Shelby Co. TX. m. 24 June 1883 in Polk Co. to Rebecca
Menarty SPEIGHT. They had 7 children, Henry, Lydia, Celia, Joseph,
John, Myles and Bessie.

IV Joseph TURNER b. 14 May 1889 Corrigan, Polk Co. TX, d. 7 July 1954
Overton, Shelby CO. TX. m. 1911, poss in Panola Co. TX to Sarah Jane
CLEVELAND. They had 10 children, of which 3 are still living.

V. Allan TURNER b. 1 Oct 1917, near Gary, Panola Co. TX. d. 6 Feb.
1998, Sacramento, Sacramento Co. CA. 4th child & 3rd son of Joseph &
Sarah Jane. (eldest of a set of triplets, all of whom lived)
