1725 George Turner got land with Robert Hicks as witness

1815 Harrison Turner left will naming mother Martha Turner. A note says
also in Abraham Turner's will of 1801.

1711 John Turner got a land grant

1719 Joshua Turner bought land and again in 1720

1720 Lazarus Turner witnessed a deed

1785 Miles Turner married Mary Snowden.

1817 Miles Turner left will naming children William, Edmund, James, Myles,
Alexander, George.

1737 Richard Turner left will, named grandson Samuel Newby

1827 Sarah Turner left will, mentions Thomas Mullen as heir, also mentions
Joseph Turner as son-in-law.

1695 William Turner left will, mentions wife Katherine Kinsey and children
William, John, Sarah. Found marriage record between William and Katherine
Kinsey in 1693. With three children not sure if second marriage.

Turners in Henrico County, VA

May have put all this in earlier but will add again.

1734 Abel Turner left will. Heir is Lucy Parker. also left 1 heifer to
George Reinea. Will witnessed by Peter Varnier and Benj. Horner.

1712 Henry Turner will leave will, mentions wife Patience and children,
Abel, Elizabeth, Mary, Joan/Jane, Hanna, Ann. Abel in another record is
named as Bell.. I guess the A got dropped.

1730 Patience left will with the same witness as Abel's will above. Names
Ezekiel Sudbury, and grandd, Martha. Items went to Abel, jacob, Mary,
Eliz. Man, ann Ragsdale, Patience.

Turners in Isle of Wight, VA. There will be so many Turners in Isle of
Wight that it will take me several times to put them all in. Many Turner
families that spread outward to other areas were first in Isle of Wight.

1778 JOhn Turner in Southhampton will book 3, page 435 names John and his
wife Priscilla Blount.

1829 Amos Turner marries Nancy Carr Darden, widow of Hardy Darden. Hardy
and Nancy married in 1819. Amos becomes guardian of James Darden.
Records show reports being made from 1830-36 and onward. I just quit
following.

1741 Ann Turner in will of Thomas Jarrell, calls Thomas Turner his
grandson and Ann his daughter.

1751 Arthur Turner appraises an estate. Also in 1755 with William Turner
will do another estate and again 1756,1758,1760. He witnessed the will of
Martha Turner in 1752 along with James Bridges and Martha Turner. Does not
name him in will.

1752 Arthur Turner gives/sells to Joshua Turner 100 acres, deed dated
1748.

1753 Arthur Turner purchases land with Thomas Turner as witness. Also
purchases land in 1756, 1759. Witnesses sell of land in 1761 and sells
land in 1762 - has a grist mill in Newport Parish.

1799 Barden Turner witnessed a will of James Fowler

1741 Benjamin Turner in the return of the account of will of Edmunc
Fulgham

1779 Daniel Turner metnioned in the will of Elizabeth Hunter of Newport
Parish. Also mentioned are son, James and daughter, Elizabeth.

1745 Elizabeth Turner mentioned in will of ARthur Pursell as his daughter.

1750 Elizabeth Turner, wife of Arthur Jordan of NC, mentioned in deed book
as daughter of James Turner.

1752 Elizabeth Turner mentioned in the will of Phillip Pursell as his
sister

11752 Elizabeth Turner in the will of Martha Turner, Parish of Newport.
Calls Eliz. her daughter and executor. Others mentioned in will are gson,
Thomas Turner, gdau. Elizabeth Turner. Witnessed by James Bridges, ARthur

Turner and Martha Turner.

1757 Elizabeth Turner mentioned in the will of Elizabeth Hail as her
daughter.

1811 Elizabeth leaves will naming as siblings Patsey Turner (I believe
Patsey was a nickname for Martha???), Milly Turner (Mildred???), Jordan,
son of Peter, Milly, daughter of Milly, and Lotty.

1771 George Turner mentioned in land description.

1774 George Turner purchased land. 60 acres called Broad Neck, adjoins
land of Wm Whitley and John Edwards.

1777 and 1779 George Turner purchases land at Woodleys Pond and Newport
parish.

1698 Henry Turner appraises land for will,

1708 Henry Turner mentioned without relationship in will of Thomas Joyner,
Sr.

1715 Henry Turner married to Elizabeth Wilkinson, noted in will and deed
book.

1715 Henry Turner and wife Elizabeth Wilkinson in will of Richard
Wilkerson. will also names his other children Rachel, Mary, Ann. Will
reads in part "Elizabeth Turner who now lives with me. If she dies before
her husband, her part come back to my children. Richard has a son Richard.

1752 Henry Turner Land granted to Thomas Joiner, willed to Henry
Turner, who sold to Johnathan Jones who willed to George Johns, being sold
by Joseph Powell of Southhampton and Thomas Pope of Edgecombe, NC. The
land probably belonged to Henry in late 1600's or early 1700's coming from
will of Thomas Joiner. Henry may have been his grandson or son of sister.

1796 Henry Turner married Polly Kimball with surety by John Kimball. One
month later Henry would give surety for John Kimball to marry Jenny Smith.
both married by Nathaniel Berryman.

1786 Honour Turner married to Armstrong Edwards by William Hubbard of
Newport Parish.

I will pick up again in Isle of Wight with the J's - Jacob and James and
Jesse and John and Joseph and Joshua and Josiah. Lots of records from this
county.
