I am not sure where this information came from as I put it on a slip of
paper which is a no-no but it came from a GA library probably in Brunswick,
GA. I just copied it to share on this line - not my family. (Boo-hoo.)
Hope it belongs to someone out there.

Capt. J. Calder Turner of Ashville (NC) married Cornelia Rampley on
6/8/1869 in Hartford County, Maryland.

James Turner, Sr. Rev. Soldier died at age 98 on 2/12/1856 in Alamance
County. He fought at Briar Creek and Guilford County Courthouse.

George Turner married Anne Goolrich or Goodrich on 9/22/1864 in
Mecklenburg, NC

I guess it came from an index to Ashville NC papers but not sure. Deana
