For some time I was looking for Annie TURNER born to William & Alice
(formerly Jackson) in the year 1879 & probably should be the year
1878. I have some of her sister's birth record & marriage records &
a brothers. I also have( her father & mother's) William & Alice's
marriage record. She is listed in the 1881 & 1891 British census as 2
years old and 12 years old.

I was sent a totally wrong birth record for her & now I will offer the
information to
the TURNER List.

This is a Annie TURNER(girl) born 26 February 1879 to a Charles &
Elizabeth
(formerly Rhodes) TURNER Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire County,
England. Jonathan Smith Registrar.

We tryed for Annie TURNER married to a Britton & that failed.

TURNER tidbits

Also found at that time a Annie TURNER age 22(father William TURNER)
who married a John Sorby age 21 (father John Sorby )17 Aug. 1895.
Recorded in: St. Michael,
Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire, England. The age is wrong to be ours &
all we know
is that she married a Britton(never did know his given name).
