Looks as though I have joined the list at the perfect time. I have just connected, after 15 years of searching, with my maternal grandfather's lines. I am descended of William Creth BAINES and Catherine A. TURNER who married on 07 Nov. 1837, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Catherine was b. 21 Jun 1821, TN ; d. 18 Feb. in Denton, Denton, Texas.
Catherine TURNER was the first born of her parents Robert TURNER b. 09 Mar 1793, Georgia; d.1867 Shelby Co., Texas. and his wife Nancy HAMES b. 1806, SC; d. bef. 01 April 1871, Shelby Co.,TX.
Robert Turners parents were Zacheria TURNER and Mary CASEY.

Any additional information on Zacharia TURNER and Mary CASEY and their children would be greatly appreciated. I do have information to share on the descendents of Robert and Nancy (Hames) TURNER and their descendents.
