I've recently subscribed to this list in the hope of finding a link with my TURNER ancestors fron Kent, England.

My ggg grandfather is Edmund TURNER, he was born about 1794 and died in Selling in 1843. His wife was Frances. He seems to have had at least 6 children all born in Selling; Edward (my gg grandfather) was born in 1836, Thomas, Sarah, Michael, Celia and William. Edward TURNER married Mary Ann ADLEY in 1857. They had at least five children; Emily Frances (my g grandmother) was born in 1868, Horace William, Ernest, Albert and Jane. IN 1881 Edward and Mary Ann were living in Brighton, Sussex.
