Well I am going to try this again. I am a member of the Turner-L list. I am
sending this in plain text so hopefully it will work this time.

I just found a site while doing a Canadian search for Turners. It's
unreal...between 1869 and the 1930's over 100,000 children were sent to
Canada from Great Britain during the child emigration movement. Some went to
farms to work others to homes. It tells what ship they came on , their
departure date and arrival, their age and in some cases what home they came
from and where they were sent. There is a file box to the left of each name,
click on it and it gives you a full description. There were 250 plus Turners
alone. Good luck searching.
