Subject: [TURNER] Looking for TURNER twin in KY.
Date: Wed, 30 Apr 2003 08:16:08 EDT
Looking for information on the twin of James McKinnley TURNER, who died
either at birth or as an infant.
My grandfather James McKinnley was the 1st of the twins born 28 Nov 1902 in
McHenry, Ohio County Kentucky. The 2nd twin never does show up on the census.
So he must have died sometime in-between. I know from family members that the
twin did die.
There were another set of twins that also died as an infant, Hary W. TURNER
and Cory B. TURNER, born DEC, 1899. They were not on any other Census ever
again.
The father was F.E. TURNER, born in Warren County Kentucky, I believe in the
Greencastle area. That is all that was on his death certificate. From
research I take it the F stands for Fielding. Oddly enough on his grave
marker is Galey. The mother/his wife was Elizabeth TURNER maiden name was
HAZEL. Her name too was on the marker different and on the Census as Anthy or
Antha.
>From research F.E. TURNER parents are Rubin TURNER and Amy Ann Heaverin. That
is as far as I have gotten and believe me it took me a year to track Galey
down to F.E. TURNER.
If anyone can help solve this mystery please email me. I hope the information
I gave will help in locating information on my grandfather's twin.
BTW how does one go about finding a grave for those infants in 1899 and 1902?
God Bless
Pam
