Greetings,
With regards to the obiturary I submitted of Milo Turner, I know of at
least one inaccuracy in it (he isn't descended from John Turner of the
Mayflower) and it seems a bit exaggerated in scope (like he might have written it
himself), but I have no evidence of anything else that is completely wrong (he was
a canal boat captain, he did move from Rochester to MI and thence to CA in
1852, etc.)

From my research, Milo is descended from Robert Turner of Boston (born
1611 in England) & Elizabeth Freestone through their son Habakkuk.

Habakkuk Turner (b. 1647) & Mary Gardner produced Robert.

Robert Turner (b. 1671) & Elizabeth Foote produced Habakkuk.

Habakkuk Turner (b. 1705) & Anne Edwards Davenport produced John.

John Turner (b. 1735) & Mary Wright produced: John, Hulda or Mary,
Rebecca, Anna, Samuel, Sally, Jesse, Uriah, Betsey, & Aurelia.

John Turner (b 1766) & Mary Ellis: Joseph H. (1794), Aurelia, Samuel
(1798), John Wesley (1800), Mary Wright, Milo H (1807), William Ray Ellis
(1809), Jesse Foote (1810), Peter Helmer (1813), & Don Carlos (1815).

Blessings,
Joanne
