Samuel Turner was born 1812 in South Carolina --- have no idea who his parents or siblings were.

He came to Texas September 15, 1837 and received a land grant. He married Emily Midkiff 15 August 1839 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. He and Emily had 7 children.

Emily died Trinity County, Texas 1860 and Samuel can not be found after that although all his children except one are on the 1870 Texas census.

Any help appreciated and will gladly share.
