Died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1985 at Fort Lauderdale, FL. he was 38. He was born
Dec. 27, 1946 in Somerset, KY. to Donald and Erlene "Audry " McCoon. the
1965 Caro High School graduate was a member of the school football team.
He married the former Sophia Elder on May 7, 1981 in Caro. He formerly
was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge. He worked as an operating engineer.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Stephan Scott McCoon of Marquette;
one daughter, Mrs. Terry ( Judith Ann ) Fair of Beal Air Force Base, CA;
two step daughters, Kimberly and Maria Withrow of Seabrook, TX: his father;
one sister, Mrs Daniel ( Donna ) Haight of Columbiaville; his grandmother
Mrs. Ethel Ballou of Tateville, KY; one niece, one nephew and several aunts
and uncles. His mother preceded him in death in 1979, Funeral services
are 2 p.m. Friday at Collen Funeral Home of Caro with Rev. John Bunce of
Caro United Methodist Church officiating,. Burial will be in the Almer
Township Cemetery. friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today
( Wednesday ) Memorials may be made to the Caro United Methodist Church.
