Hi Guys,

Well the floppy disk are here and ready to start the Tombstone Photo Project. Here's the needed requirements for sending the pictures.

A.) If you have tombstone photos already on a web site there are three ways this can work. I will need your permission to do these things.
1.) I can link to your photos.
2.) I can copy your photos and repost them to the site.
3.) you can send the photo by email. I'll need the address so be sure to include it in your message.

B.) You can send me the photo by email. These are the things I'll need to know.

1.) The location of the cemetery: i.e.. Cemetery name, and county.
2.) The photo cannot be larger than 1 MB in size as I will be storing the photo and the email to it on the same disk.
3.) Any additional information you wish to accompany the photo.

C.) You may mail the photo to me for scanning and placing on the web site. Just remember to include a "Self Addressed Stamped Envelope" if you want them back. (smiles.......stamps are now 34 cents each & if 100 of you send me photos to be returned that could get a little expensive.)

Be sure to include the name and county of the cemetery and any additional information you want displayed on the web site.

Notice: Do not expect exact directions to the stone's location to appear on the web site. There is just too much vandalism and theft going on.

Old monuments
Family members stones.
Unusual Grave Markings
Photos showing Vandalism
and
Hand made markers

And please be understanding, some photos are very hard to work with. I'll do my best, but please don't be disappointed if the photo isn't able to be scanned and the size modified for a good photo.

This part of the message is not intended to be sent to every list you may be on. That would be spam, but if you know of someone who is not a member of the list, and would be interested in this, let them know what we're doing and invite them to join us.
