Thank you so much Donna, that is very kind of you. I have been searching for
anything coming out of Virginia and North Carolina for a very long time.
Perhaps the reason I haven't found anything until now is because of my
ineptness in looking in the right place. Have been trying for a very long
time to determine a connection to a Thomas Pearce from Petersburg, Va during
the French & Indian War in the 1740- 1768 time period. From reading H.J.
Eckenrodes book "List of Colonial Soldiers from Virginia and Gwadney's book
on the same subject I have to believe he was the one who fought at the
Battle of The Meadows, (Fort Necessity) and also possibly Braddocks Defeat.
Will really give the VAROOTS-L a good workout.

Thanks again for your help. Have you any more jokes about middle age. I
really enjoyed the last one you sent me.
