As you know, 24 American brothers and sisters, moms and dads, and sons
and daughters are being held hostage by the Chinese government. This
has been going on too long. And to top it off, the Chinese military
are lining their trucks up to unload everything that isn't nailed down
(and probably a few things that are) from the plane. Our government
doesn't want to mess with trade with China because they don't want the
Chinese to hate them.
N E W S F L A S H China already hates us.
We as individuals can't do much but we can boycott all items made in
China. Before you buy something, turn it over and look to see where
it is made. If it says "Made in China", put it back. I understand
that many toys are made in China. Most "Barbie dolls" are made there
and I have explained the reason we can't buy them to my 8 year old and
she isn't happy but she is willing to go without new "Barbie clothes".
Just check everything you buy to make sure it isn't made in China. If
enough people here stop buying products made over there, maybe the
Chinese government will hear what we are saying with our money.
Another thing you can do is call or write to your Senators and
Representatives and let them know how you feel and what you think
about this whole mess.
