Barbara, you might be able to find probate records in the McKinney
courthouse. I would think that there would have to be some legal record
of her committment, if not her guardianship. I'm hoping that when i get
the numerous probate records regarding my husbands ggrandmother they
will possibly give dates and place she was committed. There are also
some citations from the county sheriff for various things which might
point to her behavior which lead to the committment, and possibly give
me some clue as to what she really suffered from.
Donna, dear, I know this whole thread has been a bit off-topic, but I
did start out with mentioning the cemeteries and all the unmarked graves
and how to find out who was buried there, so it "does" pertain to Texas
Cemeteries..........:)
