Subject: missing tombstone
I found the stone listed in SELECTED CEMETERIES OF TYLER COUNTY TEXAS by
Linda L. Bohl available through Ericson Books, 1614 Redbud Street,
Nacogdoches, TX 75961. She shows it as being in Grimes Cemetery located
off Hwy 190 E about 10 miles down Hollie Fork Road on a hill in what is now
an open field - it has a wooden sign and is approximately one and a half
miles off Hollie Fork Road.
The version of the text from she records reads:
Rachele E. Rawls James J. Rawls
Oct. 28, 1848 Dec. 27, 1883
Jan. 5, 1886 June 15, 1890
(Mason)
Our Loved Ones Have Gone Home
This must be the same people, even though there are discrepancies in the
recording.
Ned
