Thank you so much for spending your time looking for me.
I have been looking in a lot of counties because I can't seem to find out
what his mothter and fathers names are and I can't find about her parents
either. I am not sure when he died or where he is buried. I have part of the
1900 Rains county census and I didn't find them.
Another person researching another branch of Fitzgeralds sent me what she
thinks is all the Fitzgeralds that were on the 1900 census in Rains County
and I didn't find them. I am about to give up! No I will keep digging.
Thanks for your time.
June

1880 Federal Census shows S. L. Fitzgerald (age 38), E. Fitzgereald (wife,
age 20), F. E. Fitzgerald (daughter, age 3), S. A. Fitzgerald (daughter, age
1). No other children this census. The 1890 Census is incomplete and for
the most part is unreadable. Will check the 1900 Census, but the images
on-line take a lot of time to review. Finding the 1880 information took
about four hours to review 28 pages. You may note that enumerators of the
census must have had an option of entering either a first name or just the
initials, thus it is time-consuming to move the image when the image is
enlarged to reasonably read the penmanship. E. Sanders, College Station, TX
