Yes, I know how duty calls .. I see the streets you mention - all on 329A ..
but I see a street names Three Lakes over on 328D ... so the directions I have
in my book may be a bit muddled. I'll place a note over in the new ADDENDUM
TO AT REST and will keep trying to find out something ...
It was a black area about the mid-1870s when a group split off from the
Pilgrim's Rest group over off Westheimer. We have more than one cemetery in the
larger area, more than one black cemetery in the area ... and there no doubt
would be some smaller burial places that we don't know about.
I've had some contact about the Grand Parkway ... I'll see if I can locate
the business card and see if they came up with anything after I spoke with them.
I feel sure that if they had, they would have alerted me. But you never know
since people come and go on a project over time.
