coordinates as 29° 26.777 North and -96° 00.510 West. My map puts those
coordinates about 0.39 miles southeast (heading of 142.75°) of the intersection
of Hwy 59 and Hill Top Road in Waller County (that intersection being 1.25
miles southeast of Kendleton and 4.75 miles northwest of Hungerford.)
*** how about placing Kendleton in Fort Bend County and Hungerford in
Brazoria County, both along Hwy 59; neither in Waller county? No Hill Top Road in
Fort Bend. There is a Hill Top Drive in Brazoria Co, near Sweeny. I'll have
to give this another look in the morning ...
Kendleton Cemetery, Old. Hungerford.
Oak Hill-Kendleton Cemetery, Kendleton. From Hwy 59 south, turn left on Lumb
Road, turn right immediately after crossing 59 onto feeder road, about .8 mil.
at dead-end turn left onto gravel road. Cemetery is .1 miles; overgrown with
weeds.
Powell Point Cemetery, Kendleton. From Hwy 59, turn north on FM 2919, go
about 4 miles; near Bay Ridge Christian College. (qv)
Burnett Estate Cemetery, Kendleton (qv). US 59 to 2919, north to Battle, turn
right on Burnett. Adjoins Powell Point Cemetery (qv).
I have some other info in my Fort Bend Co Cemetery Directory ... any of the
above fit the bill? I don't suppose your friend could give a KEY MAP page??
