Hi Trevia --

I was going through old emails and this one caught my eye. You indicate that registering with the TX Banking Commission might not be the way to go. Can you expand on that a bit and maybe indicate what would be the preferable way to set up a "perpetual care" organization/fund please?

Thanks -- Paul

In Texas if it is "perpetual care" you are with the Texas Banking Commission
.... and not the best way to go. If you are on the board of directors you'd
better find out exactly how your cemetery is set up. Many people use the term
but really mean they just have an Endowment Fund set up through a local bank.
