Paul, RE Funding. membership, of course, from every descendant/family
member we could find. We quickly grew from about 15 to over 300 in a year's time -
coast to coast. Every time we got a little publicity someone new would call
.... so someone has to be willing to have that phone # become "public." And
we asked everyone to give us the names/addresses of other family members so
each Quarterly we'd mail the Newsletter. It was rare that we did not have that
person/family join. We did several different things. And we also went to
foundations for funds for big-ticket items like a new fence, etc.

A group of dedicated people signing on for the long term -- no substitute for
that. However, we did have people who could not work the grounds clearing or
maintaining but we had some wonderful folks having yard sales, etc. There is
something that everyone can do if the project is important to them.
